When I first went to the Stroud Chiropractic Clinic, I had been to many different doctors for several years regarding my chronic pain. A few of the doctors would offer relief, but it required medication. At Dr. Stroud’s office, I felt very welcomed from the moment I walked in the door and appreciated the time the doctors took with me to explain their findings and treatment options for my pain. After my first adjustment, I could not believe the difference in my pain level. Before Dr. Stroud and Dr. Bradley, I had a pain level of 6 and after treatment my level of pain was zero. They have changed my quality of life for the better and I am very grateful to them for it!
One Saturday morning, I woke up, stepped out of bed, and fell to my knees because of stabbing pain in my left side that shot down my left leg. This was a very scary incident for me considering that I was 24 weeks pregnant with my first child and my husband was out of town. I immediately called my parents who rushed over and took me to the emergency room. I couldn’t even walk to the car, and had to be wheeled in to the hospital. The doctor said that I had Sciatica and that due to the pregnancy I could take only Tylenol for the pain. I was told that this was something I would have to deal with through the rest of the pregnancy. I couldn’t walk without a walker and I was terrified that I was going to be bed ridden and on a walker for the remaining 16 weeks of my pregnancy. The doctor suggested that I seek help from a therapist or a Chiropractor to alleviate the pain.
My father called Dr. Stroud at Stroud Chiropractic and arranged for me to meet Dr. Bradley at the office, even though it was Saturday. He used the ProAdjuster from the top of neck to my lower back, concentrating on the left side where the pain was at its worst. I immediately felt a difference when I stood up. After three days of treatment I was able to walk again without assistance. I have been going two to three times per week for treatment with the ProAdjuster. The doctors concentrate on any area that has been giving me trouble. Now I don’t have the episodes of sciatica and it helps me to better support the added weight of the pregnancy. If it wasn’t for the treatment, I would not be able to continue living a normal life and not compromise my daily routine.
